File size maximum increased to 5 Mb
Now you (and your applicants) can upload files up to 5 megabytes in size. Many customers were asking for a larger allowable file size, and we listened! The 5 Mb size should accommodate any files that you or your applicants would need to upload.
New calendar feature for “date”-type questions
-When you create a “date”-type question for your applicants, you will now be able to set mininum and maximum values (e.g., the answer must fall between July 1, 2009 and July 1, 2012).
-When creating or answering questions concerning the date, you will see a small calendar and will be able to select your response by using the calendar. This will enable you to select dates (deadlines, for instance) without having to consult an external calendar to ensure that your selected date corresponds with weekends, availability, etc.
-Applicants can now use the calendar feature to fill out “date”-type questions on their application. This will save them time when recalling information, such as when an event occurred; they can now remember “I took the SAT the first weekend of January” or “My graduation date is the last Friday in May” and provide the date easily.
New features related to exporting and printing
-Leaving all the applications unselected will result in a report/printing of all of them; a “bulk print/export” is now the default, as we know many of our customers need to be able to access all of this data quickly and easily.
-Instead of generating an email with an attached file, printing and exporting will now generate an email with a link to download your file. Many of our clients were not getting their emails because the file size on the attachments was too large for their email clients to allow through. (See "export print email link" attachment for an example of how this will appear in your inbox.)
