Get the scoop on our new Requests Table! With the new Requests table, you can: * Check the status of requests * Resend a request * Retrieve the direct link for the request * View request contact information * Change a request status * And more! We've heard your requests... And now we're bringing you what you all have been asking for: a quick and easy way to manage your requests from a single page! The Requests table, available to clients at the Enhance level and above (those who have Requests as a part of their package), is your one-stop location for finding up-to-the-minute details regarding requests. Whether you want to see request status, contact info, run exports and reports on request data or more, this page will give you everything that you need. We've also made a couple of tweaks to the Applicants table as well, making it easier than ever to check on application and request status! Check Request Status You can get a generalized view of the request status per applicant on the Applicants table. In the Requests column, you'll see a value (as above) that shows how many requests have been received out of how many request sections are on the application in total. You can get a more detailed view of the requests for each applicant on the requests table. This will list the different requests that have been sent out. However, if an applicant has not filled out any information or sent out the request at all, it will not display on this table. This breakdown allows you to see the status of the different requests, whether they've been opened or viewed by the recommender/contact, and puts you in the driver's seat for request management. Resend a Request There are many reasons you might want to resend an information/recommendation request. Sometimes the recommenders are so bogged down with their other responsibilities that they just don't answer the request right away. Maybe the applicant entered the contact information incorrectly, and in reviewing, you've fixed the mistake and want to make sure the request goes out. Perhaps the school district has been blocking emails or marking them as spam, and the issue's recently been resolved, and now you're ready to resent requests to the people in their district. Maybe the deadline is rapidly approaching, and you see that you have lots of applicants with complete applications who are just waiting on their requests to come in. To resend requests, simply check the requests that you want to resend and then click the "resend" button at the bottom of the requests table. Voilà! Get the Direct Link to a Request You can now pull up the direct link for a recommendation with a single click-- from the requests table, scroll all the way to the right and click on the "Request Link" corresponding to the request that you want. You'll see a popup text box where you'll be able to copy the direct link (perfect for pasting into emails or using to directly access the recomendation page). View and Export Contact Information Now you can see pertinent recommendation/contact information such as first name, last name, and email right in the table! We've also given you two export options-- "table view" (what you see on here on the screen when you're looking at the table) or "export all", which will give you a .csv file (which can be opened with any spreadsheet program) listing all of the data from the requests! Easily Change the Status of a Request Did a recommender fill out all the information but forget to submit the request? Have you noticed a section that they overlooked? You can change the status of requests from Pending to Received or vice versa at the click of a button-- simply select the requests you'd like to change and press "Status" below the table. This will let you pick the status you want for the request(s) you've chosen. Yes, it's really that easy!
