Great New Features! * Email Addresses for Timestamps * Evaluator Email Reminders * Show Program Info Year Round * Evaluator Shortcut to Program Info Email Addresses for Timestamps You can now check the identity of the person who created, submitted, or most recently modified an application. In the Applicants table, you will see the “Last Modified,” “Created,” and “Submitted” fields with their timestamps, as before, and you will also see email addresses associated with each of these timestamps. This means that you'll be able to tell who was logged in at the time that the application was submitted or last modified. This can be particularly useful to organizations with multiple admins, as you can now determine, at a glance, whether an application was submitted manually by a staff member or whether a completed application has gone through its “vetting” phase, simply by looking at the timestamps and their associated emails. Save Time with Evaluator Emails Here at SmarterSelect, we're particularly proud of one of our newest features, available to clients at the Enhance level and above-- the ability to send out email broadcasts to evaluators (either individually or en masse). With the press of a button, you can either inform your evaluators that you've assigned new evaluations to them, or you can remind them that they have outstanding evaluations that need to be completed. From the pop-up menu, you will be able to send your message to one evaluator, the evaluators of your choice, or all evaluators-- however you see fit. If you're at the Create level but are interested in seeing a demonstration of this feature or upgrading to the Enhance level, please contact us (mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org?subject=Show%20me%20the%20new%20evaluator%20email%20broadcasts!) . Show Program Info Year-Round! If you would like to allow potential applicants to see your program information all the time, and not just when your program is active and running, choose the new “Display Program Info if Inactive/Past Deadline” option in the Program Settings menu. Normally, potential applicants and others viewing your application will only see a “This program is inactive or past the deadline” message if the program is inactive or past the deadline-- with the “Display Program Info” option checked, they'll still get this message, but they will also be able to see your program description, requirements, and award information (if you've entered it). We know that some of our customers have been displaying program information on their own websites as well as here on SmarterSelect, so we're giving you this option so that you don't have to pull double duty! New Evaluator Shortcut to Program Info When an evaluator is evaluating applications for multiple programs for the same provider, they may need a little assistance remembering which criteria to follow, and what the parameters for evaluation are. Because of this, we've added a new feature to the “My Evaluations” table which allows the evaluator to click on the program name and pull up your program information (description, requirements, etc.). This way they can associate each of the applications in their “My Evaluations” list with the program to which it belongs, and the added information should help them maintain a clear vision of the program for which they are currently evaluating.
