Do you have questions that your applicants and/or evaluators bring up on a regular basis? Are there questions that you know your applicant pool will need answered when they’re filling out their applications? Do you have a somewhat tricky scoring rubric that might require some Q&A for your evaluators? Never fear – SmarterSelect easily allows you to create Applicant and Evaluator FAQ pages!
These FAQ pages will be accessible when your applicant or evaluator is in an application. They will simply click on the “Support” button on the right-hand side of their screen which will take them to their related FAQ page. Each question you have created will be listed on that page and the applicant or evaluator only needs to click on the question to reveal the corresponding answer.
Setting up the FAQ pages is just as easy! Each FAQ page is specific to the program in which it is built. Simply go into your program and click on “FAQ” in the left-hand navigation menu.
Next, click the “Edit” button to be take into the FAQ edit mode. Click “New Question/Answer” in the section where you want to add an FAQ (Applicant section or Evaluator section).
Did you build the questions in a different order than you would prefer? No problem! Click the up/down toggle buttons to rearrange your Q&As and click the “Save” button. You’ll see a preview of the questions and answers you’ve built whenever you click on “FAQ” in the left-hand navigation menu.
If you are using a common program with linked unique programs, you can include your universal questions in the common program’s FAQs – these FAQs will display to all applicants or evaluators who are working in the common program or one of its associated uniques. If you have any questions that are specific to a unique program, add that FAQ to the unique’s FAQ page and it will be added to the end of the existing common program FAQ.
