With SmarterSelect, you can incorporate your evaluation process into the online program. There are three parts to getting ready for your evaluation process. Click on a process title to see more detailed steps.
Creating Questions & Scoring
In SmarterSelect, the questions you will ask of your evaluators will be added within the program application. These questions will appear in blue to you and your assigned evaluators. While you will see these questions throughout the application, applicants will not even know the questions are there. Any question type you can create for an applicant can be created for an evaluator, which means you can ask multiple choice and text questions as well as have them provide comments or upload a file.
Setting Up Evaluators
Creating an evaluator is a simple, two step process. All you need is the email address and first and last names of each evaluator. The evaluator will receive an email from our system inviting them to set up their account. They will be prompted to create a password and will immediately be logged into their account.

Assigning Evaluations & Exporting Scores
By using the Reports function, you can narrow down your pool of applicants and assign them to evaluators based on specific criteria. Alternatively, you can simply assign all applicants to all of your evaluators. Once applications are assigned to your evaluators, the evaluations will be available to your evaluators to begin. You will have the option to send your evaluators notification that applications are assigned to them as well as reminders to complete.
