STEP 1: Program-level settings
On the Program page, click Edit Program, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select Make Evaluations Anonymous.
What does this setting do?
1. When the evaluator sees their list of evaluations (My Evaluations), the applicant's name will be replaced by the AppID.
2. When the evaluator reads an application, identifying information in the Applicant Information box will be hidden.
STEP 2: Hide identifying information in the form
In SmarterSelect, users create accounts and those accounts have an email address, a first name, and a last name. That information gleaned from the user account is what is hidden by step 1.
In the form, you may have asked questions that can identify the applicant. Therefore, any identifying questions/fields should be hidden from the evaluator.
This can be done at the Page, Section, or Question level. To hide an entire Page or Section, click on the Page or Section in the Application Tree and click the Settings cogwheel button.
You will see an option to Hide from Evaluator.
Individual questions can also be hidden. Click on the Question to be hidden in the Application Tree. You will see an option to Hide from Evaluator.
