How to Set Up Autoscore
STEP 1: Have questions to score. Be sure that the questions you want to have Autoscored are already created within the application form. If not, you will need to do this first.
STEP 2: Create the Autoscoring question. For Autoscore to work, there has to be a place to see the Autoscore. Therefore, you will need to create a new question that you will designate as the Autoscore field.
This question must be a Number question type.
Set the new Number question as Autoscore by selecting the Autoscore box.
**Do not set a range for this question.**
**If you want to assign decimal values for an Autoscore, you will need to ensure you allow for the decimal places in the Autoscore's question settings.
STEP 3: Set Up Autoscore. Click on Autoscore in the left program navigation. You will see your Autoscore question listed.
Click "Create this Autoscore" below the question.
Use the Application Tree on the right to find the question you want to score. Drag and drop that question into the Autoscore box.
Assign values to the answer options. The way you will set this up depends on the question type. For Numbers questions, use the greater than (or equal to), less than (or equal to), and equal signs to set ranges.
