Do you have a common pool of high schools from which you receive applicants? We are all about making things easier for you and your applicants and want to share some ideas to simplify this process for all involved.
We'll be showing you how to:
- make getting the contact information easier for the applicant
- gather all outstanding requests for a single counselor and send a list to the counselor directly
STEP 1: Make getting the contact information easier for the applicant
Did you realize online request form fields are customizable and can use App Rules? That's what we're going to do here. Create a Multiple Choice/Multiple Answer question with your pool of schools listed as the choices.
For each contact/high school, create an Instruction question that has the contact information. Be sure to include the first name, last name, and email address since those are required for the online request to send.
Setup App Rules so that only the information for the selected school displays.
Use the Change Order function in your form to move things around in a more user-friendly format, with the school question and contact info first.
When done, your request will look like this (when looking at it as an admin).
This is what it will look like to your applicants.
STEP 2: Send a list of outstanding request links to the counselor
Now, when you go to your program's Requests table, you can filter your list down by the counselor you want to send a list of request links to, export, remove any info you don't want them to have (app IDs, applicant email), and distribute.
